The DRU, member of the DMV, is announcing challenges for 2024.
The challenge is not only intended to be an additional sporting challenge for us, but also promotes our community and the public exposure.
Please register for each race according to the usual procedure.
That means, registration and entry fee to the respective organizer.
Simply subscribe to the ProET class, the Challenge rankings are run in the background accordingly.
All results from races in which these classes are officially run are used for the overall ranking.
The best four races per participant count towards the overall ranking.
A maximum of two races per race track may be used for the overall ranking.
For races in Santapod:
The two best results from each participant's first three races can be used for the overall ranking. If a participant wants other races held later in the season to be counted towards the DRU Challenge overall ranking, he or she must name these races before the first race in Santapod. Otherwise the later results cannot be taken into account.
All drivers in the relevant class who have registered on time before the start of the season and have been accepted by the organizer are eligible for the respective challenge ranking.

The XO registration is already possible.

Please also indicate if you do not want to use your first three races in England, but later ones, for scoring purposes.
The individual results of the races are the basis for the points calculation (see below) and these are awarded based on driver and class.
If there is a tie in points between two or more participants at the end of the season, the following criteria will be used to determine the overall rank:
1) Most race victories won (1st place), of the results represented in the overall ranking.
2) Most lap victories won in the races, the results represented in the overall ranking.
Points awarded for the Pro ET and Supro ET classes. The XO class has its own points ranking.
Each participant receives 10 points for successful paper and technical acceptance.
Qualification: The qualification order is based on the smallest difference to the selected dial in. The top qualifier receives as many points as the participants are on the final qualification list. But a maximum of 16 points. For the next places (2, 3, 4,…) there is one point less. The last participant gets one point. If there are more than 16 participants on the list, participants in 17th place or higher receive a point.
Examples:
· 16 participants, top qualifier 16 points, the 16th 1 point.
· 20 participants, top qualifiers 16 points, places 16-20 get 1 point.
· 7 participants, top qualifier 7 points, the 7th 1 point.
Eliminations: Each participant receives 20 points for each race round won.
Example: Field of 16:
RD 1 winner 20 points.
RD 2 winner 40 points.
RD 3 winners (semi-finals) 60 points.
RD 4 winner (final) 80 points.
The points per racing event consist of the points for successful tecnical and paper inspection, qualification points and round points in the elimination heats. (Example: Acceptance passed, top qualifier and winner in a field of 16: 10+16+80=106 points. Acceptance passed, qualified in 5th place and eliminated in the first round in a field of 16: 10+12+0=22 points).
In principle, participants have the obligation to provide proof of their results. We calculate the points but organize the results ourselves, as we have a good network. The participants are responsible for checking their points for accuracy. These will be published promptly after each event here.
Trophies, prize money and non-cash prizes for the winners and runners-up will be presented at the championship celebration on October 19, 2024 as part of the championship celebration in Bad Kissingen/Germany.
The non-recurrent registration fee in 2024 is € 100,- and remains unchanged.
Certainly, there will again be a winners' pot generously filled by our sponsors.
The amount of the winnings rewarded will be updated by us regulary. The first release will be made after the registration deadline.
The pot will be split according to the following percentages at the end of the Challenge:

| 5th | Place | 5% |
Each winning reward will be round (up or off) to € 10,-
This year we have already won some sponsors for our Challenge.
Nevertheless, we are still searching for additional sponsors willing to support our Challenge.

If you like to contribute to the pot with your own company, we are able to offer you a place on the official Challenge sticker and a banner on the homepage in return.
Also in 2024 there will be an exclusive Challenge T-shirt, so do not forget to state the desired size during your registration!
We also offer an additional Challenge T-shirt that can be ordered for an additional 30, - Euro.
Conditions for participation:
As all of you will probably understand, we are obliged to provide our sponsors a certain advertising service for their support.
Therefore, it is necessary that the following conditions are accepted by the Challenge participants:
- Challenge sticker placed on both sides of the car
- Stickers of the sponsors placed on both sides of the car
- Wearing the Challenge T-Shirt at award ceremonies
In order to reduce the washing and ironing stress between the races, each participant can order an additional Challenge T-Shirt for 30,- EUR.
Since it is in our mutual interest to be supported by sponsors also in future, we feel above conditions should be acceptable for all of us.
